Quick backstory:
2 years ago I lost my dog of 15 years.
Within the same month I lost a dear person to me and was hospitalized with anxiety and depression.
It brought on a period of such intense procrastination and writers block that I was convinced I’d never finish anything again.
I had to cancel shows and recording sessions and I almost quit music altogether.
I almost lost everything.
Finding my way out took crystallizing the fundamentals of how to write a good song.
How to have something to say.
How to not get lost in the modern malaise of content.
I found the heart of making music.
It took working with (a now grammy nominated) producer to help me crystalize the top to bottom process.
I’m very lucky to have experienced all of these shifts and teachings, and I luckily kept track of it all.
